Hi Ivan,

bRenderThePanel in this case is just a public boolean member variable in the controller, i.e. it's defined like this:

public boolean bRenderThePanel {get; set;}

So that it uses the standard setters and getters, you can then set it to true or false in any of your methods. Of course you probably want to initialised it to a known value inside the constructor:

public MyController()
{
....
// Hide the panel initially
bRenderThePanel = false;
}
