Blog Purpose

The primary reason for this blogs existence is to help other force.com developers, users and administrators with problems they might encounter. When I find a solution to a problem that's caused myself of folk I know to bang our heads, I then write it up so that others don't have to endure the same.

There is no shortage of excellent blogs and resources explaining basic Salesforce setup, configuration and development, and those looking for such won't be lacking for tutorials on new features. Ergo, these are not topics frequented here very often.

As a development platform, Force.com has progressed in leaps and bounds, becoming more and more popular with developers especially with the move towards cloud-based applications in the form of the AppExchange.

The platform is evolving constantly, striding into new realms with aplomb. In addition to helping those who use it, this blog is also evolving to include my thoughts on where we are and where we might be headed.
